7 Months Later

It has been a very long time since the last post. Addison is now 7 months and will be 8 months on the 16th. Randon is doing well at his job. I still have been able to work from home. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to work from home and be with Addison. I love my job and am so thankful. Addison is doing awesome. She is a healthy, happy, and loved!! She is learning how to scoot/crawl! She sits on her own. It has been so fun to watch her learn and grow. I will try to give a quick overview of the previous months. Mended Little Hearts

Mended Little Hearts http://www.mendedhearts.org/mlh/frame-mlh.htm is a support group for parents of babies that are born with congenital heart defects. I was told about this website from a couple of people. I joined the Arizona chapter and immediately got a response. I have already been in contact with two parents that have children with tetraology of fallot. They were so helpful and shared their personal stories. I am happy that there are support groups for families of children with heart defects. Addison is doing great and getting bigger. Her pediatrician appointment is on the 16th. I cant believe she is already going to be a month old on Friday.

Happy New Year! Addison is 3 weeks old on Tuesday. She has already changed so much within the last couple of weeks. She has been sleeping in her own room, trying to hold her head up, and can focus her eyes a lot better. She allows mom to sleep for at least 3-4 hours before she gets up to eat at night. We see the cardiologist again on January 15th. She has shown no signs of a "blue spell". She looks and acts healthy. She looks taller and seems heavier. We will see what the pediatrician says at her one month appointment. We are loving every moment with Addison. Life would not be the same without her.
